reminding us of the love that God has for each of us,
reflected
in the warmth and sparkle beaming from Santeen's eyes.

incredible soul touched so many lives with
his wonderful humor and wit, his
wisdom, his sincere care of others,
and his loving, big heart!

For the last six years I have had the heart-felt privilege of living and working with a most amazing community of personalities. I have intimately shared in the pain and confusion, and the healing and growth of many people. I have had the honor of being invited into the inner lives of my spiritual brothers and sisters, and I am enjoying the sacred opportunity of knowing and loving them.
I have felt people struggle with doubt, fear, and rejection. And I have seen the astonishing transformations that result when people begin to work in partnership with God.
Many people today are alone and drifting, starving for hope, love, and a vision by which to live. The tragedy is that the vision they seek, the way of living they so desperately seek, already exists within the perfect will of God, if only they would open their eyes and see it. A life of fulfillment and destiny purpose is within their immediate grasp, if they will but reach for it.
It is 1965, and I am eighteen years old. On this particular day I am sitting on my surfboard about a half high mile out in the Pacific waters from Sunset Point on the Island of Oahu watching one huge set of waves after another roll under me. The waves keep growing in size. Twenty feet, twenty-five feet, thirty-feet and I just keep paddling out farther and farther. All at once I am filled with a feeling of energy flowing through my body and a sensation as if I am expanding like a balloon. Before I can think about what is happening, I find myself somehow outside of my body but enveloping it. I see my physical form, the ocean with its monster waves, and two other surfers off in the distance, tiny objects rapidly shrinking out of view. When they are gone, I am alone in an unbroken field of white light...
In the twenty-ninth chapter of Proverbs we find the familiar statement "Where there is no vision, the people perish." A vision means hope. It means guiding direction. It can also mean something else: inspiration for a people to transcend themselves, to strive not just to be better but also to be different.
The next day after the wildest water ride of my life in 1965, I was introduced to The URANTIA Book, the Fifth Epochal Revelation and my life changed. I lived and breathed that big blue book. I could not get enough of it. I hungered and I thirsted for more about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ Michael, Beloved Master Sovereign of a vast universe.
As a child growing up I always felt that we were not alone in the universe, that we were not here by accident, and that a loving Heavenly Father ruled the universe by the power of his love. I am very grateful to my human parents for introducing me, at a very early age to Jesus Christ, to his love, and to his marvelous teachings of mercy, and forgiveness.
My ascendant path on this planet has been a stormy one. I have created many difficulties and obstacles by not humbling myself before God and my true elders. The cosmic truth presented in the 196 papers of the Fifth Epochal Revelation challenged my every day thinking and behavior. Early on, I plunged into the Urantia Movement in search of ‘kindred souls' and met many wonderful people around the world trying to reconcile their inability to "fit in" the dominant culture around them. How do you live in God's perfect will? Or do you even want to? It is so much easier just to ‘talk the talk.'
When I first heard about Global Community Communications Alliance, its community, and their teachings, I was skeptical until I read the very challenging letter from Machiventa Melchizedek and the accompanying Cosmic Family Volume I by Gabriel of Urantia. Even then I had honest doubts. This small band of Destiny Reservist s made some very bold claims. It is easy to sit at home in your comfortable chair and dismiss another reality thousands of miles away. I had to go and investigate what was happening in Sedona for myself. I have been here ever since.
So few of Global Community Communications Alliance's critics have actually visited Sedona or have come with an open mind. This global change community is not for every one. Living in community is not for every one. I have seen many come and I have seen many go. So, why am I here?
I have lived and worked, side by side, day by day, with Gabriel of Urantia and Niànn Emerson Chase for many years. People ask me why I am so loyal and trusting of them. The answer is simple, they have earned it. They are two of the most beautiful and humble human beings I have ever met. I honor them for the mandate that they hold - The Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star.
What is a mandate? There are all different kinds of mandates, from religious to political governments, even the underworld has mandates. The Pope supposedly has a mandate that has been handed down from pope to pope that came from St. Peter himself. At one time in history there were six popes making exclusive claims to that mandate all at one time.
There are millions of Buddhists who believe the present Dali Lama to be known as His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. You have people in western society bowing down before the Dalai Lama and they do not even know who he is; they just bow like everybody else when he goes by.
But when you talk about the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star, that is a big one. Most people do not know that we live in the Universe of Nebadon. They do not realize who Jesus is, that He is much more than the Jesus of our traditions. He is Christ Michael, Sovereign Ruler of a universe. His first born son is the Bright and Morning Star, who has a Mandate from Christ Michael. That is big.
This Mandate to bring continuing revelation, for God to pour out His love and His mercy and His ministry to His children here, goes all the way back to Dalamatia and the First Epochal Revelation. Again, how do you describe that to people who do not have the language and do not have that understanding? How do you go all the way back to Van?
To attempt an understanding of the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star, you have to understand the souls who have it, who and what they are, who and what they were. Seeing is believing. Gabriel, in the Bright and Morning Star Mandate video, speaks a line that is really good for all of us. He says, "How do you know who you are and where you are going if you do not know where you have been and who you were?"
One of the marvelous gifts that we have here are the transmissions, the contact with celestial spirit beings, with the chief of Finaliters, Paladin. Paladin and Company are able to tell us who we are and who we are to become. That is made possible by the Mandate of the Bright and Morning Star.
So, not only do we have the history of the Mandate to consider, but also the history of the souls to whom the Mandate has been given. Can you even imagine what Gabriel and Niànn have experienced over many repersonalizations in order to get to this point, to be able to receive the Mandate, and then what the Mandate means to every soul here and on the planet. The power of the Mandate is to help souls meet their individual destiny in God.
I could write a book about it. The best you can do is to begin to highlight it and know that it is a continuing blessing that comes from the Universe Creator Son, the Paradise Son Himself, down through His sons and sons' sons until it gets to this point at the fringes of time and space on Urantia held by Gabriel of Urantia and Niànn Emerson Chase.
My oldest daughter, who has not visited the community yet, asked me a question
the other day, "What if your work turns out to be unreal?" She has doubts.
It is an honest question. I answered her with an old Native saying, "Does
it grow corn?" It is just that simple. I have only to look at my present
life, the joy and the beauty that surrounds me. God has blessed me with
a beautiful child and a loving complement. My home and community environment
are one of the most spectacular on the planet and we are continually blessed with
clean air, pure water, and healthy food. I am supported by a true cosmic family
that loves me for what I am becoming moment to moment as we strive to be in God's
perfect will. A family that continues to bear the fruits of the spirit.
Yes, the corn is very good here.
